Dr. Aryan is the Chief Executive Officer for Pharmacy1 and the proud employer of a specialized team of young professional pharmacists and team members. Being the ambitious entrepreneur that he is, Amjad Aryan left a thriving successful pharmacy chain business in Miami, Florida and came to Jordan in 2001 to establish the first pharmacy chain in Jordan, Pharmacy 1. His vision is to be the leading chain pharmacy in the MENA region. Today, he has 53 branches in Jordan, 4 in Saudi Arabia and 1 in Erbil, Iraq. Amjad Aryan is the largest recruiter of pharmacists in Jordan by far and offers more than 500 employment opportunities to Jordanians.

An avid believer in the power of "I can" and in giving second chances, he dedicates his time to give back to society and make a difference through empowering youth and changing mindsets to promote the great potential and ability of Jordanian youth. He believes in leading by example as the only way to change. He is the founder of several initiatives; "Mish 3aib", "Step & mile" and "Mumken" focusing on decreasing unemployment rates and preparing the youth for the job market. He works by building confidences, presenting a role model and sharing experiences with the youth to unleash their potential.

He is a winner of the Ernst and Young entrepreneur of the year award for the year 2010 representing Jordan in the Monte Carlo based Ernst & Young Global Entrepreneur award for the year 2011. He was also named as Endeavor Entrepreneur of the year for the year 2009, and his company, Pharmacy1 was chosen in 2011 as one of the fastest growing companies in Jordan in the All World Arabia, Jordan version, the Jordan 30 .

Besides Pharmacy1, he serves as the Chairman of the Mazaya Investment Company; Chairman of Advanced Soft; Member of the Board of Trustees at Isra’a University; Member of the Young Presidents Organization, Chairman of Shabakat ALORDON and serves on the board of trustees at INJAZ. His potent academic background is also reflected in Dr. Aryan’s current board membership at the Isra’a University and the Faculty of Pharmacy at the Jordan University of Science & Technology.

Dr. Aryan obtained his degree in Pharmacy from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy in Boston, USA. He continued his education through specializing in various subject areas, Retail Pharmacy Management being his area of specialization and gained the American Board of Pharmacy from both Massachusetts and Florida in the USA.
