About the Conference

During this crucial era witnessed in the world, anti corruption is becoming a priority and a major issue to discuss and raise awareness thereof.

World Anti Corruption Forum came to life as the first of its kind in the Middle East and the region whether in nature, type, or objectives. It aims to address the misconceptions related to corruption worldwide, as it is the real enemy for economic development, sustainability, and reforms.

The Conference aims to:

  • Further the process of anti corruption awareness efforts and further promoting the implementations of UN Conventions against Corruption.
  • Provide a platform for sharing experiences and expertise in the field of assets recovery.
  • Scrutinize the roles of regulators in this field.
  • Shed the light on the efforts of governments in combating corruption.
  • Enrich the private sector's knowledge on building good corporate governance to comply with laws and regulations.
  • Uncover the role of Media in addressing anti corruption issues.
  • Raise the awareness of Civil Society Bodies regarding rights and responsibilities in fighting corruption.
  • Motivate Academia and Professional Institutions to play a proactive role in establishing a scientific ground for understanding and detecting corruption.

This two-day Forum will be held under the Patronage of the Head of Jordan Upper House of Parliament (Senates) H.E. Mr. Taher El Masri

  • Delegates are composed of regulators, ministers, senior governmental officials, CEOs, private sector executives, media experts, civil society institutions, academics, professionals and experts.
Time & Place

The conference will be held on 24-25 September 2012 in Amman – Jordan.

Conference Language

The primary language of the Conference is English with simultaneous translation in Arabic. Forum materials will be provided in English.
